Docklands

The Docklands area large area of East London, formerly part of The Port of London, which was once upon a time the World’s largest port. This district offers a lot of tranquillity due to its proximity to marinas and the River Thames and has some fantastic views. Nearby you can find The 02 Arena, The Emirates Air Line Cable Car, ExCel London Convention Centre and Canary Wharf. There are some lovely parks in the Docklands including Mudchute Park, Island Gardens and Farm and Thames Barrier Park. The Royal Docks and London Docklands have become a very popular place to live due to a lot of continual investment and development over the years. The local area is served by the Docklands Light Railway (DLR), providing transport directly into Central London and other parts of East and South London. You can also access The Docklands and Royal Docks using Uber Boat Services.

Camden

A bustling district just North of Regent’s Park. In the daytime, experience Camden Market, with over a thousand stalls, the wharf and scenic Regent’s Canal by Camden Lock. London Zoo is nearby and there are some beautiful parks nearby including Regent’s Park and the quaint Primrose Hill, boasting fantastic views over London. You can find some of the best nightlife in the Capital after hours, with venues like Jazz Café, 02 Forum Kentish Town, Electric Ballroom and KOKO. If these loud and busy venues or nightclubs aren’t your idea of a fun night out, there are plenty of more relaxed bars and pubs throughout Camden. The local area is served by the Northern Line and London Overground Services.

Canada Water & Bermondsey

Both Canada Water & Bermondsey are areas located just South of the River Thames. These areas are surprisingly close to Central London, as Tower Bridge is within walking distance. Canada Water is a freshwater lake and wildlife reserve in the London Borough of Southwark. The Canada Water Library is an award-winning community space and performance space with a cafe and has played a Central part of the local area since 2011. Within the local area is Dock X, a modern and versatile conference space and Printworks, a large nightclub and events venue with frequent events. Surrey Quays Shopping Centre is also located within Canada Water.

In nearby Bermondsey is the popular “Bermondsey Beer Mile”, an unofficial celebration of a great selection of small brewery bars and bottle shops located along a stretch of railway arches that nearly spans two miles! This is also by Maltby Street Market, with a range of fantastic street food traders and other small bars.

These areas are perfect for commuting to and from Canary Wharf due to their proximity via the Jubilee Line. The area is also served by London Overground Services.

Stratford & Hackney Wick

Areas of East London that have seen radical change since London won their bid to host the 2012 Olympic Games! Westfield Stratford City provides the local area with all of your retail needs and the serene Queen Elizabeth Olympic and Victoria Parks provide local open spaces perfect for recreation, exercise and day-to-day life needs! There are so many bars and eateries at Here East, East Village, The International Quarter London and Westfield. The local area is served by National Rail, DLR, London Overground, Jubilee and Central Line Services.

 

Stratford is home to West Ham United (London Stadium), Lee Valley VeloPark, London Aquatics Centre, Copper Box Arena and an abundance of gymnasiums and fitness centres.
